Engineering of a product for tech support and troubleshooting

We realized a product for one of our clients, from the initial analysis, through the design phase, to the configuration and final release in production.

We realized a product using a commodity PC as hardware and a Debian ditribution as software. We configured a VPN system and connectivity rules in order to produce a 24x7 information security and remote troubleshooting services, by exploiting a normal Internet connection.

There are hundreds of installations worldwide of this product (350 on 31 December 2012) and it guarantees a continuity of the tech support service and software update management since year 2005. Our client is a multinational company, global leader in solutions for bowling.
